Formula (explained)
PF Balance = Monthly contribution × (1 + r/n)^(n × t)
Gratuity = (15 × Last Drawn Salary × Years of Service) / 26
Variables: r = interest rate, n = compounding frequency, t = years, Salary = last drawn monthly basic + DA.
Example calculation
PF: ₹5,000/month for 20 years at 8% ≈ ₹29 lakh.
Gratuity: Salary ₹50,000, service 15 years → Gratuity ≈ ₹4.33 lakh.
